Beef Patty

The beef patty is the most common type of burger patty in the world. Other than in India where cows are sacred, you can find beef patties inside your burger. Beef patties are made from ground beef. The beef patties usually contain about 80% lean beef and 20% fat content.

This makes the burger soft and juicy as the beef gets cooked in its fat. The most common type of meat that is used to make beef patties is chuck but people also mix sirloin and even pork to enhance flavor and texture.

Beef patties are formed after grounding the meat and fat together with a meat grinder and sometimes additional spices are also added to the mix to enrich the flavor. Ground beef for making beef patties can be bought directly from the store or you can buy some good quality meat and grind the beef yourself.
